We offer four distinct experiences: the Ghost Tour through haunted French Quarter landmarks, the Dark History Tour exploring tunnels, bones, and the dangerous 1850s waterfront, the Cocktales Tour (21+ only) blending cocktail history with the city’s darker past, and the Haunted Locations Tour led by author and guide Doug Bookout, featuring real photographs from paranormal encounters at sites like the LaLaurie Mansion and The Pharmacy Museum.
Tours are priced between $25 and $30 USD per person. Specific pricing for each tour is listed – and most include discounts for Students / Teachers / Seniors / First Responders / Military (ID required).
All tours are capped at 20 people. That’s intentional. Smaller groups mean you can hear every word, ask every question, and actually have a conversation with your guide — rather than being shuffled along in a crowd. It’s one of the things that sets us apart from larger, impersonal tour operators in the city.
Depends on your children…some content may not be suitable for younger children, and there is some walking involved. We recommend ages 10+ at a minimum. The “Cocktales Tour” and the ‘Vampire VIP’ tour are 21+ only.
Tour durations average 1.5 hours walking several blocks with multiple breaks (and a brief ‘intermission’ half way). Plan for an engaging evening, these are not rushed walk-and-talks. Your guide will take the time to build the story properly.
Unless it’s a tropical storm or hurricane, we will always go out! Check the weather and dress appropriately (and bring an umbrella/raincoat).
The Ghost Tour is specifically about the people of New Orleans. We explore their lives, their deaths, why they’re in the buildings and, in some cases, why they can never leave. The Vampire Tour is comprised of history, legend, local mysteries, murders and old folklore from New Orleans and the entire world. It’s comprehensive and not to be mixed with or watered down by another tour.
